Mumuni Sulemana Wunzooya
My name is Mumuni Sulemana Wunizooya, and I was born on November 30, 1998, in Tamale, Ghana. Growing up in a devout Muslim family with five sisters, I was deeply rooted in Islamic traditions. However, my life took a dramatic turn when my father was transferred to a new community for work Called Dalun,He was working in Ghana Water Company Limited as a Driver and I was enrolled in The King’s School in a Village called Bontanga, it is a Christian school. Initially, I was hesitant and struggled to understand the Christian teachings. But the love and kindness of my teachers, particularly a kind-hearted man known as "Thomas," drew me in. As I learned more about Jesus, I felt a stirring in my heart. Despite my doubts, a wise teacher encouraged me to pray and ask God to reveal the truth.
God answered my prayer in a powerful way. In a vivid dream, I saw the cross and the Islamic symbol of the moon and star. A voice from the cross spoke, saying, "Come to me, this is the right way." In that moment, I knew God was calling me to follow Christ. The journey wasn't easy. My Muslim friends rejected me, and my family thought I'd lost my mind. But I knew what I had experienced, and I couldn't deny it. I gave my life to Christ, and everything changed. Looking back, I realize that God's plan was unfolding all along. My family, once sceptical, eventually followed in my footsteps, giving their lives to Christ. It's a miracle that still fills my heart with joy. But even until now, most of my extended family members have rejected my family. To a point, they refused to attend my late father burial and funeral or have anything to do with his wife and children. But our love for Christ Jesus continues to increase daily. Today, I'm grateful to be part of Crown of Nations that shares the love of Christ with others. My story is a testament to God's power to transform lives and bring people together in faith.
